Research

Current research activities at the AREI banding stations include: bird banding, Monitoring Avian Productivity and Survivorship (MAPS), nest box monitoring, DNA analysis of sexes and species in morphologically similar birds, stable isotope analysis, pesticide, PCBs and organochlorine build up in neotropical migrants.
