Donations

Donors to AREI help support our day-to-day operations and the development of new projects. All donors receive The Cuckoo newsletter three times a year, which features research updates, summaries of spring, summer and fall banding, upcoming events and educational program updates. Donors may take an active role in our research program as volunteers, and receive discounts on AREI merchandise and birding adventures.

Your donation will help:

• Support research, education and informational activities to improve knowledge of bird activity and migration
• Support migratory bird banding – over 1000 birds banded
• Support Monitoring Avian Productivity & Survivorship (MAPS) – a national bird banding program
• Support biological stations at Hueston Woods and Peffer Park, in Oxford, OH
• Educate students and community members – multiple science classes used the Hueston Woods Station in 2004
