MU Ornithology Owl Banding 2009

On Wednesday, April 1, we banded two Great Horned Owls with Jeff Hays of Raptor, Inc in Cincinnati. It was a beautiful day and two very feisty, 4 week old (ish) young owls got their social security numbers and met part of Miami’s Ornithology class—a really cool lab!!
